About

Based in Sussex UK, Dan is a seasoned theatre maker with experience in performing, directing, marketing and sound design. He can most often be found designing lighting or operating light and sound. He graduated from Northbrook MET in 2019 with a first class BA honours in Theatre Arts and was nominated for the Outstanding Achievement Award in arts.

Dan approaches light as an artistic medium. He is interested in applying transdisciplinary techniques to scenographic light, often using enhanced naturalistic light in expressionistic forms.

Dan is experienced with Zero 88, Chamsys and ETC lighting desks, and Capture Visualisation software.

As of April 2022, Dan is now the In-House Lighting Technician for The Old Market Theatre, in Brighton.
